Het there and sorry for getting here so late today. have to do this quickly and run off to do some stand-up. It's been a while and I have rust to shake off.

Today was supposed to be more humorous than it ended up being. My guest, comedian Peter Radomski, was there to help me go over the week during the show's last hour and help me find the funny but there really wasn't a lot of funny in the Iraq video released this week by the Wikileaks people but we did have some fun at the expense of the incredibly racist Pat Buchanan http://bit.ly/cPpWC7 who was defending slavery this week on MSNBC.  (You'll find the link to the Wikileaks video on a previous post entitled Chumpsday Blogging)

Earlier in the program before Peter arrived I talked about the Chinese ship stuck and leaking oil on Australia's Great Barrier Reef and what's being done to mitigate the situation http://bit.ly/ceLTip There was also the story of Ontario taking the lead and investing 8 billion$ in green energy http://bit.ly/9Mvwah Really terrific to see a Canadian province and Premier getting out ahead on this issue

The show's early focus was on ACTA (The Anti-Conterfeiting Trade Agtreement)  http://bit.ly/c07pxh and how it will change the world's internet laws and how it is a screwjob for the world's poorer countrieshttp://bit.ly/9hd1Ri Combine that with the pro-corporate ruling on net-nuetrality http://huff.to/aWHtSZ and the UK's new and draconianian rules called the Digital Economy bill http://bit.ly/9Cunss and it's been an all around crappy last couple of weeks for internet freedom.

An important story I didn't have time for but must blog is about GWB the lesser knowing full well Guantanamo Detainees were innocent but feared that releasing them would harm the push for war in Iraq and the broader War on Terror http://bit.ly/ctNOof
